D-FY-IT participation provides the student with discounts on a variety of goods and services as well as entry to special D-FY-IT events. This presents a positive alternative to drug related activities. The program promotes on-going communications with local school officials and business leaders, and creates a forum for drug education and usage prevention. Every individual is encouraged to develop leadership skills through this positive and beneficial activity. An environment is provided that encourages drug abstinence and supports maintenance of a wholesome lifestyle.
